    About US

Optimum Health Solution is a small non-profit 501c3 organization founded in 2005 with the mission of preventing obesity, chronic disease and malnutrition in children through experiential/hands on education of healthy living: positive mindset, primarily plant-based and exercise. Its office is in Waltham, MA and its program, Real Kids Real Food, is presently at Mystic Learning Center in Somerville, MA.

Our vision is to launch the Real Kids Real Food framework into programs across the country. This framework can be integrated into any context: school, after-school, and youth centered nonprofits. This not only serves to build empathy, it provides an opportunity to learn and apply tangible 21st century skills. We are in the process of writing a procedural manual including 30 lesson plans, physical activities and recipes. Real Kids Real Food Kids-Tested Recipes has just been published and is available on Amazon.

Through hands-on activities concerning nutrition, local and organic plant-based food and gardening, grocery shopping, planning and preparing meals, children learn how to achieve and continue an overall healthy lifestyle. The program broadens their exposure to making healthy choices with attention to affordability and incorporates physical activities and parent involvement.
